OUR AMBASSADORS

THE ROLE OF OUR SOCIETIES VOLUNTEER AMBASSADORS

This is a volunteer role to help raise awareness of The Australian Light Horse Society’s (TALHS) charitable aims and objectives of serving our members in keeping the legacy of the Australian Light Horse and history alive to the wider Australian and New Zealand Light Horse community and the wider community in general.

Our ambassadors that we approached are all exceptional individuals who will add immense value to TALHS and all our members. It is noted that when these Ambassadors where approached, all accepted without hesitation.

In addition to spreading the word and awareness about TALHS, amongst their respective networks, there will be times when speaking at events or doing interviews and taking on the role as a Master of Ceremonies (MC) at TALHS functions or host a table at our special dinners etc. will be asked of them.

As this is a volunteer role, we will always discuss any commitments with them to ensure that they are well prepared and comfortable with that commitment. As our ambassadors are State based this will allow TALHS members in that State to be able to engage with them and include them in their Troops activities etc.
